Benefits of Utkatasana : Yoga Tips

There are many postures and actions in yoga to remove the accumulated dirt inside the body. In actions such as Ganesh Kriya, Jaleti, Dhauti Kriya and Vaman Kriya are performed. In the same way, Utkatasana or Utkatasana has importance in the asanas. Come let's see how it is done.

Upright posture:

1. Utkatasana is performed in many ways. This is basically done while standing.

2. First you stand in Tadasana and then slowly bend your knees by joining them together.

3. Bring your hips down and keep them stable in the same way as if you are sitting in a chair.

4. Keeping your hands raised, frame your face.

5. Now bring your hands together in the center of your chest in prayer posture. This is excitement.

6. Initially increase this posture from 10 seconds to 90 seconds.

7. As long as you remain stable in the posture, take deep breaths for 5 to   6 times and exhale.

8. While doing the asana, take a deep breath in and after the completion of the asana, while exhaling, come back to Tadasana and come to the resting posture.

9. Do the above asanas only 5 to 6 times in the beginning.

10. This asana is done by drinking water on an empty stomach.

 Some people keep water in a copper vessel at night and drink water in the morning with stale mouth during intense posture. Initially, drink up to 2 glasses of water for this asana. After that slowly practice drinking up to 5 glasses. After consuming water, go for defecation etc.

Utkatasana

Caution: Do not do this asana if you have knee injury or any serious problem, pain on the hips or back pain, headache or insomnia.

Benefits of Utkatasana:

1. This asana destroys Vata, Pitta and Kapha in our body. 

2. By this yoga, the amount of copper keeps going in the body, due to which the bones and muscles of the body get benefits.

3. No matter how old constipation is with this yoga, it gets away.

4. This asana strengthens the ankles, thighs, calves, shoulders, chest and spine.

5. Benefits abdominal organs and diaphragm and heart.

6. Creates balance in the body and if you meditate then it also benefits.
