There are many more components in food which when eaten together provide us with the necessary energy. provide energy but not as quickly as glucose, these foods contain starch which is a complex form of glucose and this starch is eventually broken down by the body into glucose and therefore starch is broken down at a slower rate than simple glucose molecules is absorbed, now both these components that are glucose and starch belong to a family of carbohydrates, but there are other families besides carbohydrates such as proteins fats and vitamins and minerals, so now let's look at the different food sources of these families Because all the ingredients in these families provide energy, they are called nutrients when all these nutrients are present in some form in our diet.
In the right amount we call that diet healthy and balanced diet and the process of taking and using all these nutrients maintenance and repair of our body for growth is called nutrition but what if all these nutrients are in some way? are present in unbalanced form in the person's diet i.e. if the nutrients are in insufficient quantity then we say that the person is suffering from nutrition but on the other hand what if any of these nutrients are in excess then we say that it is There is more than nutrition. Now these two terms can be collectively called malnutrition for unbalanced form of nutrition in one's diet but generally we consider nutrition as a major aspect of malnutrition. Also we all have heard the word deficiency.
Now deficiency occurs when a person fails to meet the daily requirement of only one particular nutrient, so it is very important to have balanced amount of all the nutrients in our diet for a healthy and happy life, as promised. We have given you all you need to know about a healthy diet but as you know our eating habits have given rise to some unusual myths related to nutrition, for example some people say There are reports that skipping breakfast helps you lose weight, but the fact is that research shows that skipping breakfast tends to eat more during the day, so don't go on the argument that skipping meals will make you eat less.
